Building Maintenance Wages

According to the U.S. Department of Labor the median hourly wages of general building maintenance workers were $16.21 in May 2008.

The middle 50% earned between $12.44 and $21.09, the lowest 10% earned less than $9.78 and the highest 10% earned more than $25.94.

The median hourly wages in industries employing the largest numbers of general building maintenance workers in May 2008 is shown below:
